White Lace Flower

Adding a delicate airiness to summer borders or fresh bouquets, Orlaya grandiflora (White Lace Flower) is a lovely hardy annual plant with abundant, large, flat-topped umbels, 3-5 in. wide (8-12 cm), of sparkling white flowers floating atop a lush, finely divided foliage. Resembling lace-cap hydrangeas with its small central florets elegantly surrounded by a ring of larger ones, it gracefully mingles with other plants, adding unmatched elegance. Blooming over an extremely long flowering period, from early summer until frost, Orlaya grandiflora enjoys a compact bushy habit, making it a great choice for small gardens. (via GARDENIA)
